The “LONG ROAD” tribute band starts up from the passion of five guys for the Pearl Jam Music at the very end of 2006.
They all live near Venice and the idea came out from both Ivan (voice and guitar) and Luca (guitar).
They began already in 1998, with their former group “SMALL TOWN”, to sing PEARL JAM songs, together with some covers from the GRUNGE scene in Seattle (Soundgarden, Nirvana, Alice in Chains).
In 2003 the SMALL TOWN broke up, and for the following three years they did not sing, but the need to restart something greater lasts longer...
After the PEARL JAM'S five- day tour in Italy in 2006, Ivan and Giacomo (drums) have given birth again to the band with a really new strength, by building their own rehearsal studio along with many many rehearsals!!
The LONG ROAD was thus born.
Together with the coming back of Luca and two new components, Alberto “nevermind” (bass guitar), and Stefano”stone”(guitar), begins a new great adventure: to do their best to promote Eddie & Co. music!
The LONG ROAD has now an always updating set list of about 35-40 songs, ( from the PEARL JAM's most known works to some recent pieces and covers sung by the same PEARL JAM). All of them played with that LIVE sound only the band from Seattle can have and communicate.
The PEARL JAM band is for us not only a band playing music.... it's our lifestyle example!!

I LONG ROAD nascono dall’unione di 5 ragazzi appassionati della musica dei Pearl Jam provenienti dalla provincia di Venezia alla fine del 2006.
L'idea della tribute band nasce da Ivan (Voce e chitarra) e Luca (chitarra) che già dal 1998 con il loro precedente gruppo gli SMALL TOWN presentano pezzi dei 5 di Seattle insieme ad un repertorio di cover tratte dalla scena GRUNGE di Seattle( Soundgarden, Nirvana)
Nel 2003 i Small Town si sciolgono e per 3 anni la band rimane ferma, ma non la voglia di ricominciare qualcosa di grande..
Infatti dopo le 5 tappe dei Pearl Jam in Italia nel 2006, Ivan assieme a Giacomo (batteria), riformano il gruppo con una voglia e un'energia da far addirittura costruire una sala prova privata; nascono cosi i LONG ROAD.
Assieme al ritorno di Luca e l'entrata di due nuovi componenti, Alberto "Nevermind" (basso) e Stefano "Stone" (chitarra) prende il via questa fantastica avventura di diffondere il più possibile la musica di Eddie e soci.
I Long Road presentano attualmente una setlist di circa 35/40 canzoni, in continuo aggiornamento (dai pezzi storici della band, ai pezzi più recenti e alcune cover presentate dagli stessi Pearl Jam), rigorosamente suonate con il caratteristico suono LIVE che solo i 5 di Seattle riescono ad avere e trasmettere.
