Kenny Metcalf As Elton (originally known as Elton -The Early Years) leaves you feeling like you went back in time! Just close your eyes and it's "The Troubadour" 1970! And when you open your eyes “it’s Elton” 1970! Complete with polyester, flared bell pants, platform shoes, glasses, glitter and sequins. Kenny Metcalf As Elton is a "tribute show" that is not like any of the other tribute bands... Many Elton tribute bands have his voice of today (a lower voice) but we have captured his sound of youth! I was amazed at how well he does Elton, he sounds just like him vocally and his piano playing and stage antics, along with an excellent band are so accurate you wonder if you haven’t been transported back in time to some of the historic concerts such as Dodger Stadium in 1975! For any Elton John fan that likes to take a trip down memory lane and visit Elton’s music of the early 70’s, this is the show to see!
